Ivan Dudynsky

Director Ivan Dudynsky began his career on the opposite end of the lens as a dancer for Michael Jackson, a choreographer for 'N Sync, and as an actor, in over 50 national commercials, the feature film Newsies, and the lead in the award-winning Nickelodeon series, Roundhouse. However, it was when he became a producer/editor for MTV's Peabody Award winning series, BIOrhythm, that Dudynsky's production career exploded.

From there, it was a fast track to success as an editor, producer and, ultimately, director. Ivan was brought on as an editor for the 2000 Cannes Film Festival Palm d'Or winning movie, Dancer In The Dark and as a producer/editor on Jimmy Iovine and Doug Morris' music series Farmclub.com but directing was his goal. Armed with an eye for movement, impeccable timing and experience on camera from his performer days, Ivan easily took to directing. He quickly moved into single camera directing for series like After Hours with Daniel (Mojo), Muzik Mafia TV (CMT) and Bust A Ritmo (MTV Tr3) as well as large scale, multi-camera directing for concerts, award shows and competition series such as DirecTV's SXSW live concert coverage and their first weekly music series, CDUSA; CMT's critically-acclaimed Crossroads series and mega-concert franchise, Outlaws; and, internationally, MTV Latin America's VMAs or Los Premios and provocative fashion/rock event, Fashionista.

2008 marked Ivan's biggest year yet. He started the year directing CMT and Freemantle's co-production and CMT's first ever music competition series, Can You Duet. He directed multiple episodes of several CMT music series: Crossroads, Invitation Only, Cross Country and Studio 330 Sessions, as well as the season finales for CMT's Gone Country and GAC's Next Star (live). Ivan reteamed with DirecTV and directed their SXSW coverage and annual Country Concert. Ivan, also, produced and directed MTV Tr3's hit series, Bust A Ritmo and his second season of the food lover's favorite, After Hours With Daniel.

Mid year, Ivan was asked by Cirque du Soleil to create and direct all the video screen content for the upcoming Cirque production, Elvis, opening at Citycenter in Las Vegas in November 2009. Currently, Ivan is directing the Mark Burnett, Sean "Diddy" Combs collaboration, P. Diddy's StarMaker, a music competition series for MTV premiering in January 2009.

Ivan is represented by Evan Warner at the William Morris Agency.
